Acrylic or Glass?

What's better to have when purchasing a tank, Acrylic or Glass?

I purchased a 12g JBJ and I'm now thinking of trading it in for something a tad bigger. The next step up for the JBJ at my LFS is the 24g JBJ unless I just buy a regular bow tank and do some mods.

The staff at my LFS have no problem exchanging and/or trading up my tank to something else.

Since I've never done any mods b4, I'm going to need some advice from the NanoTank.com gang.

Glass...

I would not buy acrylic myself, and I have read MANY people who have fallen into the "acrylic pit" only to say that they would never do it again.

There are pros and cons with each but glass wins hands down IMO for a reeftank, there are just too many ways an acrylic tank can get scratched up in a reeftank.
