I love green banded gobies have a long time since i have one.... well all depends on your tank size in a 10g tank you could keep 2... just get them at same time or even better a mated pair.... if you find info. it will say that they do well in small schools but they are like any other fish if you introduce one and then another one will attack the new addition until one die (it happend to me) but it wont happen if you have plenty of space or another kind of goby... so i guess it all depends on the banded goby really it might accept another fellow or not...

How many do you think I can stick in my NC12DX? I have a yellow-headed jawfish and a pair of ocellaris clowns now. They've been in the tank for several months with no trouble. I can't imagine a couple of green bars would add much bio load or present any territory issues. What do you think? Sorry Victoria, I don't mean to hijack your post.....but I've been pondering these cute little buggers and your post got me thinking about them again.

I guess I'm a sucker for cute too! :loveface There were three of these guys in a tank at our LFS. I bought all three. So far they just chase each other around. All seems well. :eclap
