My girlfriend called me over to the tank alarmed, and what to my suprise I see what appears to be a nudibranch of some sort. He's a brownish color, with white. Here some pictures I was able to take before I lost him. I went to catch it since it was on the glass, but it escaped me and the water current took it to the rock! *RATS!* I'll have to wait again and see if I get lucky to see it on the glass again.

Here are the pics:
small

medium

large

This was hard to photograph as it's no bigger than half your pinky nail.

One other thing I wanted to see if you guys had a clue about these following pics. The scenario is basically this...

At first what appeared to be bubbles on the live rock, seem to be more than just that....I see more of them, and now covered in what looks like a spiderweb (appears protecting them) There is also a lot of green growing around it too. Are new things to be hatching in the JBJ??

Man, I hate to say it but that nudi looks exactly like two I found in my 20 gallon that unfortunately were feasting on my zoanthids. Not all nudibranchs do this but they sure were. I caught them a few times in the act and finally killed the little suckers. Mine were actually more of a bright orange rather than a brown color but they were just how you described them other than that. I'd take it out and kill it ASAP but that is just me. Maybe someone else can ID it a little better.

aww man

I tried to get that booger but it escaped me as the current took him. Right now it's very small, but if I see it again I'll be sure to catch it. :)

Dragon,

Hope you get the litter bugger before you go to work and leave him in more than 8 hours before you get home again. I wouldn't trust that sucker with the amount of zoos I have in my tank.

i found some interesting things from that site you provided. It's now one of my saved favorites page. I think you are right with the type of bubble algae and either way it says to remove it as it smothers other stuff and kills it. I'll let you know what caught my eye while browsing that site.

That's most definitely a predatory nudi. You'll have to be on the lookout and remove it ASAP, as they will lay eggs and it's a royal PITA to manually remove all the eggs. I'd suggest removing any of the roks that have zoos on them and more than likely you'll find it hiding out in the polyps.

Sandra doesn't have very many zoo's just a small frag of one that are yellowish brown, I haven't seen anything on them though. It's a small nudi in a big world in there....hard to say if I'll find it again, if I do, I'll be sure to squash it, or for kicks, spice it up a bit and drop it in hot water, what do you think Magnolia? Cruel enough ? hehe * i read ur post on how to add more kick to when injecting or killing pests*

ACK!!!!!! Do NOT squash it with your fingers!!!!

I'm not kidding either - those things are toxic. Hop over to Reef Central and search through the zoanthid forum. There's a multitude of threads about those nasties.

No way I'd touch it, but you know what ? I found it a few days ago, and took it out, and dropped it in hot water then down the garbage disposal. As far as eggs I am not sure what bad nudi eggs would look like, but anything I see that shows signs of eggs, I use the turkey baster to suck it out of the tank.

I have no need for new surprises.
