Okay this is my first nano tank. I plan on just keeping shrooms and some other more hardy corals till I feel more comfortable with it. Here is what Im going to use this weekend to start my tank cycling. Im going to run just mixed water for 5 days and then add 10lbs of live rock and cycle probably for at least another week before adding any stock.
I have a old retail cigarette display Im going to paint black and use for my stand. There is a regular dual bulb flourescent fixture in there that Im going to use along with mounting 2 13w PC's. The only other thing I have right now Im going to use is a 50w stealth heater. Im hoping to be able to install a fuge. Not sure if theres going to be enough room behind the tank to add a fuge or if Ill have to put in a small overflow box. Sorry I dont know how to resize the pictures yet. I am very open and hoping for suggestions on this tank as far as my cycling schedule along with what cleanup I need to add and what corals I should use.
