i have a 4.75 gallon custom 14 inch tall tank. its drilled twice one on each side and has a 1.5 gallon costum sump in a wood stand it only stand 27 inchs all together and every thing is hard lined im only use a coral life 50/50 10,000k. i just put water and live sand in it twenty mins ago this is my pride and joy. i put a soda can next to the sump so you can see the size compare.

That is some nice work! and I think that is the smallest sump I have ever seen! Did you build the tank, sump and stand yourself? What are your stocking plans? and Welcome to nanotank.com!

that is a nice light! Rare and expensive would be cool. With that light you could keep just about anything.

Check out this light: http://www.nanotuners.com/product_info.php?products_id=623&osCsid=5nf8vb1d3c6rvabk2ns4mj2t44

that is the light I have over my 5.5. Lots of people are using these with great results(not just in nano's either, I saw a couple people using them over there 100 - 200g tanks), but it is a matter of preference. I like this bulb because I can just put it into any lamp and it will work, although where you have the tank you may be able to wire something up and custom fit something into that wall to hang down towards the tank.

As far as corals, Go for what you like, There are lot of Zoas and Palys that are rare and expensive. Just collect what you like, and like what you collect. do you have any aquascape yet? Lets see it!

here are some more once it cleared up and one from the side

no aquascape yet im waiting till i find the best piece only prize pieces in this work of art i gotta really take my time and only get the very best. and i thought about douing some sort of attachment on my wall and doing a 70w hqI but it would defeat the sleakness of the whole thing it sits so plush the way it is with the corallife 12" now i just want a little more power and that I-9 is looking right up my alley.

That i-9 is a sweet light. As for sand, I'm all for sand, I just don't like the look of Bare bottom or minimal sand, too unrealistic for me. But again it is preference. Can't wait to see the pieces of rock you are going to choose.
