2005 Tank of the Summer Contest - Vote for the winner

Here are the entries for the Tank of the Summer contest. Each participant was allowed to submit two photos of their tank. Please vote for the best overall tank. The member's tank with the most votes will receive an IceCap Model 70-MH setup including a new 6.5K MH bulb hanging system and a pre-wired ballast box. This great compact setup is completely plug and play.

The winner of the TOTS contest will be asked to provide a short write-up about their tank to submit to the site. It will be featured on the front page for about a month.

Voting ends midnight July 31, 2005.

Wow, everything looks so colorful and clean in all these shots. # 3 is a bit blurry in the second pic though, but I guess that doesn't matter much, according to polls as of now, he/she is up by a landslide in votes over everybody else. (I believe I've seen the pics in pico section of our site) Best of luck to you # 3 and everyone else, it's anybodys's game.

BTW: My personal favorite is the #1 pic

Okay, little problem this go around with the contest. It seems that one of the contest participants somehow convinced twelve or thirteen friends to join the site today (all on 7/20/05) and vote for them to win in the poll.

Question to everyone: what should we do about this?

I will lock the contest poll for now and start a new thread in this section to discuss a little more.
