I posted this before as 12g Eclipse 64wattPC...
just posting an update.I got tired of the Eclipse hood and wanted more light. I built a hood and installed it 6" above the tank.
Now I have room for access,more light(already added 1 65w 50/50 for a total of 129watts)

I will probably add one more 65w 10000k. :?: Do you think 194 total watts is overkill

I believe he's talking about cyanobacteria. Common in most tanks.

Tank is looking good. What is that yellow sponge looking thing on the bottom right in your 2nd to last post? How are the two clowns doing?

The sponge was purchased as a "sponge" (im sure it has another name but I dont know)from my LFS.Its in pretty bad shape now when I moved it to my HOB fuge the top of it got a lot of air contact.(I read thats bad)

The clowns are doing great they have really taken to the green star coral in the past few months.
