12 gallon nano dx questions

WARNINGWARNINGWARNING
NEWBIE POST WITH PROBABLY SILLY QUESTIONS!

so i have my 12 gal dx nano setup and the only mod i did was switch out the pumps with a maxijet 1200 and put the carbon and a sponge in the first chamber, sponge in the second, and a heater and the pump in the third.

my plan is to put cured live rock in bare bottom, and then add some aragonite in after a couple days. i also plan on putting some LR rubble in the middle chamber with some macroalgae on top and possibly a submersible light in there to act as a fuge.

my spg is 1.026

questions:
1. will my spg jump higher when i put the live rock, or aragonite in?

2. what do you think of my chamber setup
chamber 1: sponge and carbon underneath
chamber 2: sponge for now, but will be LR rubble with macroalgae on top with a submersible light
chamber 3: just heater and pump.

3. i still have my stock pump. should i put that at the bottom of chamber 1? if so, do i need to do anything special (attach tubes?), or just put it in at the bottom?

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP.

Im not to sure about the spg but i know for sure the water will rise a little bit. :cool1: As far as the compartments.

C1- sponge, purigen
C2- rock rubble and cheato on top
C3- heater and minejet 606 pump.

Someone gave me some good advice a while back to put it at the top vent pointing out for awesome circulation. Works awesome!

The shaft in my 12 gallon nano pump only lasted a few months. The shaft rusts out and breaks. The tank was only 5 months old when it happened. I am having problems with sponges growing in the back compartment. Maybe I should add some rubble. Everything sounds good to me. Good luck!

i 13 watt bulb with it's own power source. Fit it in your existing lighting under the heatshield and seal it up good and bada bing bada boom, you have a fuge light.
