So it's ok to go ahead a do the set up and worry about the skimmer later? The weekly water change is no big deal for me since I do them on my FW tanks already. The one I have would probably be adequate but it's so darn big and conflicts with the space available for my lighting. Kay

Hello....I am looking into ordering an aqualite 20" power compact fixture for my 10g. My question is.....are the mounting legs needed?? or can the unit sit right on the all glass tank? I will also be adding a 3/4w moonlight. tia, Kay

Hi, I'm new to the group also! I have just recently come across the JBJ 12 gal deluxe and am seriously considering going with it because I have an autistic son who is attracted to water so having something with an open top is out of the question. My first question is....by "at your own risk"...
