The friendliness of this board is one ofr the reasons its my favorite nano board. The "other" board may be bigger as far as number of posts and posters but we don't have rude comments and flames all over the place making sure nanotank has a much more desireable atmosphere.

I use phytoplex, zooplex, chromaplex (all made by Kent), and cyclopeeze. I feed the tank one of these at a time maybe twice weekly. I have no exact schedule as to which food I feed, I just vary the menu somewhat trying not to give the same thing every time.

Thats one way to do it, have the MH on for say half an hour for a couple of days and keep increasing the time its on by half an hour every 4 or 5 days until its on for the desired length of time. Keep an eye on your corals and if they seem to be stressed then slow the cycle down some more.
