Trogdor, I was referring to the unusual amount of nitrate in the bag that came from the LFS. But like Incysor said, sitting that long in the bag renders it useless. I would go back and get a sample from the tank the shrimp came from. Good luck, Mike

Phishcy, The bottom red growth is a macro algae, I have it on two of my rocks. It doesn't grow too quickly but it does keep it's shape. My cleannng crew leave it alone for the most part. But the green leafy algae I don't have, wish I did, looks really healthy has a nice green to it. Mike

Steve, Flower pots are so pretty, but they do expand. You might try a very little one, but I would work on getting mushrooms in your nano for the color and the diversity that you are looking for. Mike
