72 Oceanic Reef Ready Bow Front Evolution...

Well, Looks like I've been having some fun with my two knew little toys. I adopted two new kids to my oceanic filtration family; the Deltec PF 509 Calcium reactor and the Deltec FR 509 Phosphate reactor. I started by finding some small bricks from Home Depot that would elevate my two kids...

    CO2 containers help???

Thanks Erik, I went ahead and ordered two bottles at 20 oz each. That should allow me at least 4 months usage for both. I made sure to get the one with the on/off valve, they said it will work on my regulator. Mike Here is a picture of the CO2 containers I ordered:

    CO2 containers help???

PMI PURE ENERGY 20 OZ CO2 BOTTLE WITH ON/OFF exist, so I'm set. How long will a 20 oz container last me? It converts to 1 lb 4 oz. As compared to the 5 lbs bottle, how long do I have? Anyone want to give me an educated guess? I run a 72 gallon reef tank with the PF 509 Deltec reactor. Mike

DJ and Drty811, I promise I will send out a small frag to both of you; do you guys each have a small piece of rubble to attach it to via a rubber band or glue? When I went down to Anaheim and gave Dragon a branch, we glued it to a small piece of rubble and it took off. Dragon can you...

    Digi-lab Digital Handheld Tester

Okay, I'm waiting for the results, want to really see if it's that easy. When I want to do a test with my refractometer, I have to pull some water from tank place on slide and then try to pinpoint what line it's on, takes longer to do than yours. Mike

    Bubble liquid....

DJ, Actually it's not for leaks, it's to keep evaporation inside the bubble counter. It also is able to let you see the bubbles moving slower than when they are in just water; this helps to set the counter to a better precision visually. I didn't want to order it unless I got back good...

Hi Erik, I haven't forgotten your macro red algae, I promise to send it out. I've been really busy with work that I had to halt my activity on the tanks for two straight weekends. I'm also in the process of connecting my two new items from Deltec, a calcium reactor and a phosphate...
