    My ricordia

I just moved them down to the bottom corner where there is decent light and barely any flow. They still don't look happy. We'll see how they look tomorrow.

Just playing around with some of your peoples photos!

I didn't see the one that you made when I posted the one that I made... That's why I didn't comment. I like it. I don't remember the font that I used. I made it at work. But something that isn't uniform and I think red.... Blends with the clown. what proportions on the image are you using...

Just playing around with some of your peoples photos!

I tried to make one... Well I guess I did, but the proportions are slightly different and the picture isn't great quality. I used a different pic then the one I posted up there. Thanks for the support Edgray! I used HP image and paint. I think I lost some of the quality when I reduced...

Just playing around with some of your peoples photos!

Hey Jesse, I don't know if your still doing these..... I know your computer crapped out on you so let me know.... Was wondering if you could make one out of this pic for me. I tried but I apparently don't have very good software for this kind of thing. Also I was curious how you attach...

    My ricordia

These guys are really starting to not look good. I haven't been able to view them during the day but at night when I get home they're just not happy. Everything else in my tank is doing really well. I tested everything last night and it's all exactly where it's supposed to be. I'm going to...

    Tire Reef???????

Have you guys seen this one? http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/200 ... reef_x.htm I can't believe someone actually thought that would be a good idea. Must have been political.

    confusion

OK.... so I've been thinking a little bit lately about what I would do to save my tank if there was a power outage or something like that. Living in So Cal that's gotta be on all reefers minds out here. So I'm confused about one thing. Why is it that a tank will crash and you'll lose...

Adding LR to an Established system

So the added benefits from maybe having polyps or crabs or urchins and all the beneficial hitchhikers would be lost then, right? I haven't had any trouble with my LR and have quite enjoyed all the little presents. i guess it totally depends on where you purchase it from and what risks you are...

    give it a try

i'm thinking of creating a little area in my sump for just such a purpose. I have a pretty good PC light down there that would be fine for shrooms and other items. I'm getting sick of looking at the tupper ware in my main tank and It's disturbing my anemone and xenia. Thanks for the input.

    Acclimating in new lights

If you scroll to the bottom of the link that she posted you can see that it's 8 lamps in one fixture. When was the last time you went to Coral Oasis Jesse? you need to get over there when you get the chance. Their new tanks are beautiful and they all have these fixtures on them. you'll love...

    blue lunar lighting

have fun.... That's unfortunate that you don't think we could build an LED daylight system. I was really looking forward to a project. now I'll have to find something else. I think I'm going to work on an ATO and a phosban reactor. For fathers day I'm getting another 2x54 TEk T5 retrofit...

size wise maybe it's fine then but carpet anemone's I believe are the most light demanding anemones out there. Maybe the minis are different. The light will probably be fine for zoos and any other softy's you might get. If your getting growth and your coral are looking like they're supposed...

ok so this is the end cap. This is the plug that goes to a DC adapter that says:12V DC 300mA It says some other stuff too but I'm not sure what you'd be looking for. These are the resistors at the end. I took it apart for you. And this is the back side of the circuit board. Let...

I'd say yes however I don't know much about the mini Anemone. I've heard people say that they would never keep an anemone under PC lighting. I've also heard people say not to keep anemone's in anything smaller then 30 gallons. So let's see if someone else with more knowledge will chime in...

    blue lunar lighting

yeah I'll take another couple of pics for you when i get home. I took it apart when I got it home because I had to move where the plug came out of it. Do to mounting issues. Anyway it was surprisingly simple. They put the lights into the circuit board or what ever material they used. Then...

I'm talking about an older thread of yours. this is the one about the 20000K Solaris. http://www.nanotank.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4526 I already have a great Lunar Light. Although one of the LED's isn't lighting up.... Haven't looked into it yet. $75 48" 24 LED's. All I can remember...

Well if you can't get off your butt tell me what parts I need to get and tell me how to connect everything and I'll let you know how it works. My tank is 60 gallons so I'd probably need to double what ever it is you do, right? I'm about to add another 2x54 watt T5, but I wouldn't mind...
