    Update on BC 29

It looks really good. I really hope someday we can get 3D camera's. you can tell when a picture just doesn't do something justice. Everything always goes flat in our tanks.

    That's what I'm talking about.

    Where'd everybody go?

So when do you think you might let us in on this little "in the works" project that you may or may not be working on?

    Where'd everybody go?

Outside? Haven't you heard? This is the lost generation. They don't know what Outside is. Interesting though. It's like the cold or flu virus huh? Personally I tend to stay indoors more during the summer. I hate hot. when the sun goes away then I'll come back out to play...

    Upload issues

I was having trouble as well so I gave up.... If you go to a site like www.photobucket.com you can upload your pictures there and then copy and paste the img Code into your postings and the image will appear. Two advantages. After you originally upload it you will always have it online and it's...

    Where'd everybody go?

Is it just me or does it seem as though there is a lot less activity on this site? Where is the monthly photo competition? where is the enthusiasm this place had just a few months ago even? Is everyone just too busy these days?

    My poor new Watanabe Angel

OK so I cut up some small pieces of garlic and put it in a small container with some water from the tank and food pellets with some frozen squid. let it sit for a while so the pellets would obsorb some of the water and the squid would defrost then I poured a little bit at a time into the tank...

    Algae

I've never heard that you could change too much water during a water change. I don't think he meant you should cut back just that you could if you wanted to. Answer a few questions for us. How much/often do you feed? I think John was suggesting that you create more flow with more...

    My poor new Watanabe Angel

Thanks for the responses... I'm going to try to do nothing... How long should i do nothing for? Garlic... Do I chop up a clove and soak the food with it in water or do I actually feed the fish little bits of garlic with the food? Or should I get the garlic powder and sprinkle it on the food...

    My poor new Watanabe Angel

There is a small whitishy yellow thing one the side of my new Angelfish. I tried to look up what it could be and I've narrowed it down to a Fungis which they described as looking like a little cotton ball, a Cancerous growth which they said looks like cauliflower or a wound from getting into it...

So after having them for almost 24 hours I have a few questions for anyone that knows Angels or even fish really well for that matter. quote"one thing though, now would be a good time to lose the damsels and at least one of the clowns. with a pair of fish like that they should become the focus...

yeah my wife is going to be so mad when I tell her that we should return Ame and Fred the 2nd. (Our Damsels). Ame was the first fish we bought and we named her after our friend in Fiji that we met on our honeymoon. It's so funny because she makes fun of me for being so into it, but she gets...

    give it a try

I know it's hard to see in this pic but all 5 pieces attached. I'm pretty happy that I was able to do it. I guess it's pretty easy after all. I'd almost say that it's not worth it though. Unless you've got a better set up then putting a bulky tupperware container in your main display. It'll...

I got em at Coral Oasis. I've been looking at them for a long time. He's had them for close to two months I think. I really liked the female and wanted to get just her but Ben inspired me to get both because it was my chance to get two angels that get along and are reef safe. So far they've...

OK here is the latest. The Yellow mimic tang died. I think he starved because he wouldn't eat anything but algae. My hermits do a pretty good job of keeping the algae down. So for my first Father's day my wife bought me a pair of Watanabe Angels. A male and Female. I really only wanted the...

I can see your point about the evap being a larger issue for them however hardly big enough to discourage someone from getting the tank.

    My ricordia

My water temp is very consistant. I think I rushed the acclimation. I didn't want my wife to know I spent $45 on a Rock and she was on her way home. I temp acclimated but didn't really give them time to adjust to the different parameters properly.

    fuge conversion for 24g nano

All you need for a Fuge is some macro Algae and a light. Most people use Chaetomorpha. It's the easiest to deal with I guess. Check out this discussion on the subject of Macro. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showt ... nextoldest there are plenty of ways to light the thing. This is...

Here are the first three that successfully attached. only two left and then I would consider my first attempt to have gone as good as it could have. I'm already pretty excited that I've got these 3.
