    6 gallon Tru Vu evolution...

Guys, Thanks for the nice comments.... Regarding what I will place in there is still a mystery, it won't be any frag LPS, I'll tell you that, since I have zero room form expansion... I'm thinking small SPS frags that can grow and later go into my 72 reef if they take off... I'm in...

    6 gallon Tru Vu evolution...

Reefers, I've asked around about what type of filtration I should put in place of the bio balls... After a lot of debate, I went with Chemipure at the bottom followed by PolyFilter on top, then Phosguard, then a few bioballs to distribute the flow of water and then small strip of DLS...

Hey Reefers, I wanted to share something with you all that I think might surprise you... While at work I got a call from Scott Clark V.P. of Tru Vu aquariums. He let me know that Ken the owner at Aquarium Concepts in Hayward Ca, had led him to my thread... He was very concerned...

Is anyone using a Tunze Nano Filter

Brian, The fluval has been redesigned this year 06. It has a quick release on the intake and return line allowing you to change media easy. They are very compact so placing them next to your nano will fit just right, and most of all they don't take any space in the display area. That's...

If you do go with the MH, remember the 20K are beautiful and have a deep blue look.... But if you want the daylight bright look go with the 14K, they are sweet, everything looks so natural, like looking into the world without any hints of blues, it's hard to explain... In other words Ed...

Is anyone using a Tunze Nano Filter

Thanks Jesse, Looks like a waste of money and space as you have to place it around the tank. I would stick with a good mechanical filtration outside the tank, small fluval would do the trick... And rely on LR for biological filtration.... Nuff Said!!! :cool1:

Ed, I would go with the increase in Power compacts as I have read that this type of lighting is especially good for zoos, enhances the color more than MH... With MH your zoos need adjusting and when they do, they will start multiplying like crazy, more than PC lighting in my experience...
