72 Oceanic Reef Ready Bow Front Evolution...

Thanks, Don't feel bad because the 72 was sold on day one of me placing it on the market. My 90 gallon is much taller and will accomodate more fish but I kept the same amount of fish since I don't want too much of a nitrate flux. Only problem is I reintroduced two blue tangs that picked...

    My ricordia

Cris, If your water temp was the same as the LFS on a 24 hour cycle, week to week you would be okay... However, if he ran a chiller that kept a more constant temp than your tank, you placed strain on the ric and it was down hill... What size tank do you run and what type of temps to you...

    Zero Edge

The biggest problem with the Zero-edge tank is EVAPORTATION; it was a big problem when they originally launched their first tank and still is a problem in my opinion. I evaporate 3 gallons of water in almost 3 weeks; and I have a 90 gallon. They evaporate 1 gallon I believe in 2 days. MG

    My ricordia

Cris, I'm willing to bet it had a lot to do with water temperature as well as the environmental changes mentioned above. I had the same problem occur in my 12 gallon cube with a $120 dollar blue yuma that died in 7 days; just as yours did. Mine was due in part to high temps during that...

    low ph

John, I would not worry about your PH at 7.8 the problems occur when your have large swings in PH. My PH begins in the morning at 7.70 and at 7.85 my calcium reactor kicks in. It will rise to a PH of 7.9 before it comes down to about 7.75 in the night. Now I don't know if you are using...
