72 Oceanic Reef Ready Bow Front Evolution...

Everything in cold water is huge, I am literally amazed in comparison to what I've seen at the LFS. Now I haven't dove warm water so I don't know what to expect. I will post a video of me picking up the star so you can see how large they really are. Mike.

    firefish or clown goby

Loki, The yellow gum drop is a good eater of small particles of food that swim by his face, he'll lunge for them. He doesn't chase food as do your clowns so he might die of starvation if not spot fed. Like Jesse said, they will perch on the ground, rock, or coral. I've seen them get...

Thanks Bro, Here are some shots that we took this past Sunday at Lover's Point in Monterey CA. It was incredible as we ran into a harbor seal, moon jelly, leopard sharks and some fish. I got really nervous when the sharks appeared out of no where, my heart started thumping. Now I...

Moving to Seattle Area ! And moving a tank

"Daughter and I have put our heart and soul in these guys, and it pains us to not take our "buddies" Looks like you two really care about your setup and critters as do the majority on this board. If you really want to do the move with them, you need to go down to you LFS, they should give...

Wow, That helps explain the dangerous signature you have with the snow flake eel... You like to live on the edge, so you made your fish live on the edge with your eel.... ;-)

Erik, That's nice I didn't know that you were certified. PADI or SSI? What type of gear do you have, are you a cold water diver or warm water? Have you dove in California? Do you dive duals or singles? What has been your most memorable experience diving? I've just begun with only 8...

Moving to Seattle Area ! And moving a tank

Moving is not as hard as you think... Just be sure to oxygenate the bags at your LFS prior to the move.... All other things, sand and rocks can be rapped in newspaper that has been soaked in ocean water...

    WATER CLARITY

Looks like you got a case of the bubbles.... You will need to break down the cascading effect with the use of filter pads or build some baffles.... Good luck....

    WATER CLARITY

If your water were crystal clear the bubbles would not be the reason your tank is cloudy... You would have crystal clear water with bubbles shooting around everywhere... Cloudy tank plus bubbles just looks that much more occluded for you to view your corals or fish... How young is your...

72 Oceanic Reef Ready Bow Front Evolution...

Thanks Brian, Reefing as a hobby is countless hours of fun as we build and learn from our mistakes. I've learned so much and haven't even come close to understanding all the dynamics of reeftanks in the home. SCUBA is a much more serious hobby, something that brings you one on one with...
