Thank you! that clears up the top off water problem but for air bubbles does that mean you still use a bubble wand? Cause it says when the bubbles pop it can cause saltspray and corrode your lights and stuff. Also for powerhead placement where is a good place to place them? And how many are...

I agree keep the eggs in a small tank 2.5+ gallon tank and raise them to a sellable size. They can make money. Also that is like my ramshorn snails!!!! I can't keep up with them. They lay eggs everywhere even on each other.... I wouldn't b surprised if I saw some on my corys!!! Too bad ramshorn...

I agree madiens hair is really nice algae. Of course if your still looking they have others like "ogo" or "tang's heaven", caleurpa (red grape looks nice, cheatomorpha (looks like green spaggethi), etc. All are great food for tangs and other algae eating fish (not sure about chaeto though) Also...

After reading some posts it seems the 96watt 50/50 doesn't have enough actinic. I know actinic makes some corals more colorful but do they do anything else like help a coral's life, grow faster, etc. I think I may go for more actinic if it has more benefits. So does anyone have any info on more...
