Thanks everyone, for their help. This was a given to me by a friend, and though it was new, it was sitting at her house for a while so I believe I am out of luck. Looks like I may be buying a new tank as I bet the hoods cost as much as a new tank!

I have a 12G Nanocube and it appeared the light burned out, but only after about five months. I went to replace it and it appeared to work initially, then I turned it off to put the plastic shield back on and by the time I was done with that, the light didn't work any longer. I would unplug it...

I am very new to the Nano Tank thing and I have a 12G with a clown fish right now. I wanted to upgrade my pump, as I've read other people do, but don't know what is recommended. I just wanted to get more cirucation around the tank. Didn't know if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks.
