    Acrylic

I "tinkered" with acrylic like this from Lowe's. I made a pico tank and lid. I had to add braces on the tank and lid because it started to bow also. The bottom and short sides were fine but the front, back and lid bowed. I think it is just this type of acrylic needs bracing as mine was fine...

    Chiton HH

Chitons are great at camouflage. I have a few, that come as hh's, and have had no problems with them. Cool little critters actually. Almost like having a armadillo dinosaur in your tank.

    lgreen's 58g Oceanic Reef w/ remote plenum

How is your six-line with the other fish? Mine seems so territorial, I am being overly cautious on possible tank mates. I have the 36" Maristar if you are still exploring options. It has the double halides and T-5's also and I haven't experienced any heat problems, but mine is suspended from...

    aquemeni's 6G Nano

I hate it for ya, they really are hard to get rid of. I have been dipping everything that goes into my tanks for a few years now, but some still get by. Luckily, though, I have a six-line that hunts anything that moves and catches the few I have missed. He seems to enjoy them like candy. I...

How do I get this out of my tank? Pic included

You could also add attractive macro that would fight for the nutrients and also benefit the tank at the same time. I agree that it is "feeding off of something" and there is a cause, finding it can be a hassle sometimes but is worth it in the end. Could be overfeeding, water source, lighting...

another thing that eats zoas from inside now

I have never had them attack my zoa's, just usually cleaning up around them, when they are seen but mostly stay near or in the sand. Hope you find the answers you are looking for.

another thing that eats zoas from inside now

Found it, yay! They are called sand skaters, so I wasn't to far off. According to the piece on them, it says that they are not common, they are in my tank. http://www.ronshimek.com/Animal%20Group ... aceans.htm

another thing that eats zoas from inside now

These look like skate bugs (my term as the technical one escapes me), mine stay in the sand and most unseen, until I move a rock and actually watch the sand. Common in most tanks actually. Used to have a link for them, rshimek.com/odd_critters I believe, but it is no longer valid. I will keep...

    Jumping six-line

My six is a jumper, so I made a top with the mosquito screening at lowe's, problem solved.

    blennie ID

Looks like it could possibly be a midas to me. Some have been known to change colors to adapt to their surroundings. http://www.exoticfish.com/details.cfm?c ... &id=36657& "They can vary in color pretty strongly depending on mood, stress, sleep time and some other unexplainable reasons"...

    Another ID

Looks like it could be a type of Maldanidae or bamboo type worm, but not sure. I don't think bamboo worms have legs though. Try this page, since you have seen it up close, it may help you narrow it down. http://www.nhm.ac.uk/research-curation/ ... ly_key.htm
