    20 Gallon High

I don't know about growth rate. I know it depends on water quality and trace elements but what I can tell you is that I am not seeing much visable growth yet. In my 75 gallon, I could see some serious encrusting at the base and new arms of my digitata at about 2 months. So I am assuming about...

    My little Nano

Looks like it is a good start. I would probably add some more rock work but that is me because I like rocks. Keep posting updates though. Love looking at everyones tanks.

    20 Gallon High

Hopefully those bad boys can get growing. I recently lost a small frag of green zoas but the orange and yellows in the tank are doing amazing. The reds still look good and I think the green had some bacterial problem. I tryed the fresh water lugols dip but I think I was a little late to get...

Do you keep a clam in your nano?

I voted yes because I plan on buying a clam once my tank has been up at least 6 months. I have a 10K 250watt MH on my 20 high.

    Ages? Occupation? Pics?

Yeah, we both completed a discovering scuba course. My wife realized taht scuba was not her thing on the first dive but I really enjoyed it. I have some pics but most are pretty bland because the only underwater camera I had was a disposable. It was an amazing experiance though.

Reef Design / Live Rock Placement

You can get a lot of the info in that book on the net however, it is a good book to be able to referance instead of spending the time searching on RC and sites like that. Just my 2 cents and justifying my purchase of the book a few years ago. The internet information has some advantages and...

    20 Gallon High

I figured since my tank is starting to actually house live rock and sand, I can move it from the beginner into here. So now pics of my tank and sump: oh yeah, I am planning on adding more rock to both the sump and main tank as well.

    getting closer to water

Well, I now have the tank full of saltwater, 40lbs of sand on the bottom, and just freshly added 15 lbs of live rock from the LFS. Most of the rock has been in their holding tank for a while (i looked at this stuff when I bought the tank a month ago). They also gave me about a cup of the live...
