Thanks to one and all for the advice. I think the cause of death of the Anenome was the Bristle Worm. It was the kind that stings and kills anenomes and corals. I got the big one with hemastats after dark. Got the Crab that eats Bristle worms and took out the live rock piece the other one was...

Whoops! Some of it is still attached to LR maybe it will grow back. Now I would really like to get rid of the Bristle worm. Any ideas. It will come out of the rock when I feed but any movement ...he retreats in a flash.

OK thanks, what about Frogspawn? We loved our Anenome but it died. I have the deluxe 24 Gal NanoCube w/hood that has 2x36 watt-50/50 Dual Spectrum Bulb. Flow is 290gph, 25W pump. I don't know if it was the water or the Lighting that did it in. There is so much about lighting one article...

white cottonlike thing on my live rock?

No sorry. It is like a round tube about the size of a grape seed. It is white and fuzzy and round with a hole in the center. I pulled it off with tweezers. It just didn't look like a good thing to have. Hope it was'nt something i should've left alone.

Just started my Nano 24 Reef Cube today. Have crushed coral on bottom. Filter is running. Now, how do I turn out the lights and leave the filter on. My pet store said to let it filter and cycle for a couple of weeks. Any advice?
