Well I didn't know they did that!!! I came down this morning to find what I thought was a dead crab, but no! I still have two. All it had done was to shed it's skin. As an aside, how many turbo snails could I have in my 12g nano? I have two crabs and three turbo's at the moment dave

my cleaner shrimp died last night...........Hell fire the speed my two hermits were on it and devoured it was astonishing...not a jot of it left this morning. I'll do a water change just in case the nitrates have gone up. dave

Did a water test test today!!! Nitrates up around 10... They have always been under 5. Did a 2 gallon water change with r/o saltwater from lfs, will check again later then do another 2 gallon change tomorrow. Do you think that's why my tree coral is poorly? Can't think why they should have...

I have two fire gobies, recently I have noticed one stays in his little cave most of the day, and when he does venture out the other one bullies him! Any idea's how to solve it? I thought of a small breeding tank in the main tank and putting the bully in there for a day or two. Dave

I have a golden bush coral in my tank, it is a good specimen with a lot of new growth on a wide piece of live rock. Thing is once, or twice a day it shrivels up for about 1 hour then comes back to full glory, as if it were having a nap! Any one experienced this with their coral? Dave

Hi.. I put a power head in my 12g nano to give it some movement. Anyone any idea's as to why it would blow out small bubbles every couple of minutes? It is about 3 inches under water so it can't be sucking air from the surface. I'm stumped as to why it would do it.. Dave
