To figure the gallons of a rectangular tank, take the dimensions (LxWxH) in inches and divide that number by 231. Example: a 72x24x30 tall is 224 gallons. 72x24x30 = 51840. 51840 divided by 231 gives you 224.4 gallons easy, not the others I have found
