i have just recently noticed at night under the moon light there was these clear things swimming around close to top of the tank. so i looked closer and its clear that they are some type of shrimp because you could see there back legs fluttering. and im prertty sure that there not mantis shrimp...

ive got some rics that have seemed to be getting smaller and smaller as time goes on. any suggestions would be appreciated, all my tank parameters are where they should be. ive got an 18w currenet usa 12'' lighting system on a 3 gal jbj pico. is it to much light to less? give me some advice...

well i got my new lighting system and im loving it. its a current usa satalite 12" 18w lighting system. so here are a couple of pics, tank is doing well all my water parametes are where there suppose to be. maybe here in a little bit i will be adding some livestock. heres the pics let me know...

i am upgrading my lighting on my picotope to a 12" usa satalite 1x18w fixture. let me know what you think about it please if i will work fine. I just orderded it so it should be here soon. will update with pics as soon as i get it.

hi im new to picotope reefs. Im taking any advice... well my tank is cycling temp 76-78, saltlinity is 1.022 got a 9w 50/50 light that came with it which im planning on keeping. here are a couple pics of my tank so far let me know what you think.. im going to make this like a journal aswelll so...
