    nope but you are right on about test first I have to find that item here locally no one here carries it ? but my sister in law can get it in ohio for me and bring it in when they come for thanksgiving ..     nope your fine but 4 degrees is a bit of a swing you may want to bump the heater up to 76 so that you dont have a huge swing , I would not put a heater on a timer they come on when "needed" :-)

    When to remove the "MOLT"?

    you can let it go if you cant get to it I use hemostats to get that kind of stuff out from cracks and crevices

    Has any one wittnessed a shrimp molt . Our cleaner is having a difficult molt , or appears to be having difficulty , he has molted in the past with out incident but this time seems to be having a hard time . I do h20 changes 1 x a week at 30 percent per change . Not too sure if he will make it...

    try feeding foods with selcon , cyclop eeze I notice that mine fade in and out just dependent on their mood . They will change color at nite time sometimes it may just be their mood . Others here may have more help for you.I dont think that there is anything wrong with them just monitor them...

    All I ment was that the top rock in my opinion is too big but that is my opinion ,if you could chip away some of the bulk to size it down some but that is my view Please dont read this as saying your tank is bad , infact it doesnt look bad at all . it just will get better with time :-)

    it will eventually become live sand from the live rock it will take some time but the live rock will seed it if you want a cup of live sand may also help speed the seeding of the substrate :-)
