Actually for the T5s the 6500k is okay. I personally liked to have two blue lamps, a 6500k-10,000k lamp, and an actinic lamp. Oh and yeah get rid of the bio-wheel. Really on your live rock to do the biological filtration. Jesse

Same here. You just have to make sure that the water level doesnt drop to low causing the heater to be exposed to the air. most of the good heaters have an auto shut off if that happens though. Jesse
