my lights are on maybe 10-11 hours a day. i have a bicolour blenny in their because i was told he nibbles on hair algae. Would i be better off trading him in for a lawnmower blenny or do they go well together? ill go now and change my timer so they're on for say 6 hours a day

so would their be something in the water thats making the coral look bad? or are they also suffering from the light change? i dont even have very much rock in the tank, maybe 20kg but it seems to be covering in a black algae. i guess this rock is 'dead' live rock? im thinking about replacing it...

hey ed, probably a silly question but how do you get your zoas to spread so quickly? just having a quick look at some of the photos and i noticed that they're actually growing on the rock. are they like corallimorphs and you can attatch them? whats the deal? and howcome i cant find zoanthids...
