    water change

After 2 months of not doing any water changes, no testing, and no top offs, I finally did a change. I guess I got lazy. No worries soon my 12gal nano tank will house a little lion fish and I will have no worries. Hey who knew all my live stock could survive that long with out a change.

    Yellow Watchman Question (updated 4-24)

Yellow Watchman Question I had added a YWG to my tank maybe two weeks ago, but I noticed something peculiar about him and wanted to know if this is just a characteristic in a YWG or mine is just different. Do any of your YWG keeps his mouth open? For instance it's never closed, like an opened...

12g Nano Tank (updated 4/15 with Pics)

So far so good with the new corals. The frogspawn, torch, and brain coral are unpredictable at times. They curl up or expand depending on their mood with the lighting. I just added two more fish, a green clown goby (he is somewhat a baby), and a yellow watchman goby. The pic of the clown...

    Yellow Watchman Question (updated 4-24)

Yes, it turns out that the frogspawn doesn't like the lights on too long, just like my brain coral. Stubborn little things. I really thought I killed my corals.

12g Nano Tank (updated 4/15 with Pics)

This is just an update on what I have recently added to my tank. Sorry to dissappoint you but I have not taken any pictures because they're just settling in. But I do want to let you know what I have included in my tank to get some suggestions or would like to hear peoples experiences with the...

    2 pistol shrimp in a 12g tank?

As a matter of fact he is messy. Always digging on both corners of the tank, and burying my polps in the sand bed. I think he's a menace and i rarely see him, unless i take a peek at night with a flash light. I think after experiencing his digging, one is enough for me. Thanks for the advice...

    Nassarius lays eggs in tank.

I believe one of my Nassarius snails laid some eggs on the back wall of my nano tank. If anyone has had this happen to them, how long did it take for the eggs to hatch and how'd they turn out? Thanks.
