I got the new asm mini skimer for my 20L. oh yeah going to be pulling some crap from the tank soon.

I didnt have to drill anything. I used tubing to run thru the in side and just used plan pvc for the return. the water would flow thru the pvc back. The bulkheads sat about .25" from the top of the rim. my platform was just high enough to make it stand taller.

I have built big refugiums out of acrylic. Its not a tank but it could be used as one. If you want glass i would suggest getting the glass from a galss shop precut. Its doable and can be easy it you plan right.

I had mine sitting behind the tank. A power head pumped water into it and it was gravity feed back to the tank. I built a small platform to hold it higher than the tank.

well i already have 300 watts of vho over my 20L (12" tall) Im just wanting some extra actinics to make the coral colors show. If i go with 4 24watts i can put one in the front middle and the back, also i can add one to both ends.

I have a JEBO 18 watt 50/50 bulb.

I have a 18watt compact pc light for my minibow 2.5. It sits about 3" from the surface. its one of those jebo mini fixtures. Any way I have room for one more bulb so i was thinking a 13 watt actinic. Im only keeping zoas and a mantis. This this be an over kill with actinics?
