thanks guys. i really do work hard on this tank. it feels good when people appreciate it. now only if i could just leave it alone and let it do it's own thing. i get too bored with some corals (mushrooms, etc) zoos even push mu patience... snagged a new pic right before lights out.

yeah we carry the 5, 9, 10, 20 (half circle), and 45 gallon sizes. they are all the same tanks just in different sizes. some have better lighting than others and some have bigger filters. i'm not all that impressed with the light/filter combo for a reef but they'd work very well for a freshie...

the bulb and endcap are 9 1/4" long together and just under 2" wide. skip: can't find any site about them or anything. i think they are made by jebo. what info are you looking for? the fan is a hoss. it's got the tank down to a steady 73.6. i'm going to have to run it on a timer to keep...

haven't been around in a long long while but i thought i'd share my new tank with you guys. if you don't remember, this was my old tank, http://nanotank.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1903 (well the set-up wasn't old but the tank was about 8 years old and all scratched up). since then i've got a job...

Check this out! It's a Mandarin Diner! Video, too! Cool!

opinion nothing. that is way too much of a bio load for a 5 week old ,12 gallon tank! you have a reading on nitrItes and really high nitrAtes. are there any corals in the tank? cause they won't last long in water like that. the fish won't either. i'd do a large water change to get those readings...

    My 2.5g Pico

no i was talking about putting it in the tank. just to help stir the surface more. that film unfortunately is a part of reef keeping for most people. both my tanks have it and most other tanks i know have it unless they've got a surface skimmer.
