    Thanks for the reply. Does the live sand you buy at the store not work a well as the stuff from the LFS? Or is it just better to seed from well cycled tank.

    I have desided to get a 24gal and my Mom is thinking of doing the same. But I'm not sure how to cycle the tank. The last time I started a tank I have a little bottle of like dry alge or something that I had to put in. But I was thinking of using the argalive sand. Is this the best / easiest way...
