My wife noticed today that from observing from the front of the tank she could count at least 32 starfish. Mostly are very small, but two of them are Quarter size to thumb size. I suspect these will become a problem in the future. What are the possible solutions? Physical removal, and if so...

Ah forgot about the sump. The guard should be on the powerhead. Last time we lost our candy hog and he was back there. Lucky we found him when we did. I'll check tonight.

We bought a fire shrimp to compliment our tank (24 gallon) about 2 months ago. I saw him/her for about 2 days and have yet to see any sign of him. Coincidentally our skunk back is back out in the open quite a bit more now. Is there anything I can do to find out if he's still alive in there...

I have an Aquapod 24 and am quite happy with it. Plus I paid $65 (Demo unit from LFS). I as well added an additional fan (put some innertube between both pieces of plastic to reduce vibration noise). I'll have to post some pics soon as it's been up for a while and everything is doing...

Interestingly we haven't seen many people outside North America.... I figure they have their own forums that they hear about via word of mouth or via email.

Nothing has changed in months.. Except a previous post where Salinity was an issue and we were running a bit high. That was fixed about a week ago, and he may just still be recovering.

I had my candy hog make his way into a rear chamber of my 24G Aquapod. I was able to save him with a net. At first he "fell" into the live rock and was swimming very slowly and almost drunk like (for a fish). After an hour or two he was back to zipping around and eating. He had been back...

Is it a good idea/possible to put say a snail in the sump area of a Aquapod (area where the pump is) to keep it clean? Or is it beneficial to have "stuff" back there? I can see little white growths all over the sides, you touch them and they disintegrate. Other than that just algae like stuff.

Got any good links on quarantine tanks? I imagine I just need something small with some live sand in it? Maybe a power head or an airstone..... What about chemical build up? daily or semi-daily water changes (partial of course).
