Well we moved a few months ago from Little Rock to Dallas so I haven't had the tank setup for a while. So finally 2 days ago I set it up again and some live rock to it. Probably today or tomorrow I will get some small blue leg hermits for it to start cleaning the rocks and get my nitrogen cycle...
Yeah It is that stuff...I've been meaning to do that. It came in on that candy cane coral and I had some at one time that just covered my tank which came in somewhere in my sand when I first started it. Thanks for the info...I was wondering how it affected corals.
Yes they are. I know the candy cane has 2 mouths on both of its polyps and the brain is getting closer and closer everyday. Oh and the zoas are growing like crazy.
Here are the latest pics. I moved the big rock formation to the side and brought it around the tank. Now I have room for all my new guys to sit on the bottom. I just couldn't figure out how to incorporate them into the main structure and still keep it unique.
Thanks, The tank is to small to supplement and I'd have to do it daily if I do and I can't do that cause I'm not home enough. I change 2 of the 6 gallons weekly.
Yes it sounds like you are headed in a good direction. You don't really need a protein skimmer for a nano. They will suck more good nutrients out of the water and then you have to start adding more of what you need which can become a nightmare.

I purchased a frag of green star polyps the other day. Not sure yet exactly where I want it growing. I've heard you can have it grow on the back glass and it will add a very nice looking background...hmmm
