I went on vacation, and came home to dead Coral thanks to this.:-( I checked my chems. Then were fine. I did a water change anyhow.I checked the chems a day later. Fine..Brown Algae is growing again.sigh.. Does anybody have any suggestions? I am so bummed. Things were going well.

Yes I am useing tap water. No I have not tested for Phosphates. Good idea though! It seems to be slowing down. It's everywhere! Rocks,glass, bottom..I just got a Pygmy Angel that seems to like eating the Algae. I am looking forward to this tank getting me through Winter here.

Houston..We have our tank up and running! :gcool It is still murky. As soon as it clears, I will rinse the filter sponges oout and put in my Live Sand. When should I put in live rock? Wait until my Ammonia/Nitrates cycle? Or just go for it?
