Any recommendations on helping expedite there growth? Any special food they favor? I occasionally feed them algae sheets.

I just found a hitchhiker that must have been in some LR, an emerald crab. He seems to be very healthy but only has 4 legs and 1 claw. How often do they molt and will the other appendages re-grow? Thanks Anthony
