overflow for jbj nano cube

Has anyone modded their Nano Cube with an overflow to send water to a fuge. I would like to put a 5 gallon all-glass aquarium under my 24g Nano ... but I'm not sure how to setup the overflow. I don't think drilling in the cube is an option, because the back is glass. Thanks in advance for any input.

something like this for a nano cube would be nice

Obviously it would need to be smaller to fit in the back of the nano cube. I have a 24 G nano and I am thinking of trying to do something like this to get water out the back of the cube and into a 10 Gallon Sump/Refugium below.

It would be quite complicated because of the hood and the rim on the tank. Don't know if it would work too well. Drilling IS an option as long as the back glass is NOT tempered. Then again, you would have to tear down your tank if its up. May not be feasible.

I know I will have to dremel out part of the hood to make it work, but I think it can fit in the middle compartment in the back ... it will not have a very high flow rate, but it doesn't need to. If I have a 10 G sump and it is only 10G/hr flowrate then that is turning the water 24 times a day. which should be plenty for what my goal is for the sump, which is just to increase the overall stability of the system.
