yea true it looks like a good deal and the lighting is probably better for my tank, i will ponder on it and get back wit you. well the only thing is the cost and i can't really afford it right now, but i will think on it.
well see the only thing about that is that it won't fit my tank due to my hang on filter. i would have to build a canopy or legs for it. oh by the way, would this type of light be ok if i put it into a canopy? or would it produce too much heat?
ok well i made the tank and it is 2.5g and basically i don't have a thing for it except for the substrate. Well i went on line and bought a whole crap load of stuff to get this thing started and i am stumped abought the lighting. My tank dementions are 13"L 7"W 9.5'H the lighting is one 9 watt...
tall tank
well the only thing about having an aquarium like this is the light won't get to the bottom very well and you may have a problem with corals or anemonies on the bottom, Other than that sweet tank :bounc:
Lighting/canopy
Hey did you make that canopy yourself. It looks sweet. Also since your light is inside the canopy does it raise the temp of your tank at all. how do you keep it so that the bulb gets enough space so it doesent create a fire or somthing. Im not experienced with compact...
This is my 2.5g i have made and right now there is freshwater in there but it will be a nano tank soon, well hopefully. I have a 55g saltwater and i ham highly experienced with the hobby. This will be my first nano.
