    Feeding Yellow Watchman.

How big is your watchman? The only reason I can think of for him not feeding is inappropriate sized food. I have had a couple and they all ate like they were always starving. Skip

Setting up a small Nano Tank

You would mainly want to put mushrooms and polyps in a tank of this size but you could have other soft and LPS frags if you can find small enough specimens and have a plan for them when they grow. Be careful about any corals with sweeper tentacles, you don't have the room in a tank this size...

    10 gallon nano help...

:welcome to the board! You are off to a good start by planning and then getting opinions before buying. You will be able to keep most LPS along with softies, polyps, mushrooms, and ricordias under the powerquad light. You may even be able to keep some of the lower light SPS though I haven't...

When is the next chat going to be?

I like any of the topics mentioned. I have a pair of nanocubes now and I am considering taking both of my big tanks down and replacing them with one or two more nanos (any suggestions?). Whatever topic is decided on I plan on "attending". Skip

    starting new tank have question

:welcome to nanotank! I would use apair of 250 watt HQI DE MHs, the studies that have been done by Sanjay Joshi comparing the 250 HQIs with 400 watt MHs have shown that the 250 have a higher PAR value. Since you will be using 250 watt bulbs it will cost less to light the tank. HTH, Skip...

Setting up a small Nano Tank

I think this is the light that I have seen used on these tanks, its overall length is 12 inches so it will be slightly longer than your tank. Here is a link: http://www.hellolights.com/12aq2.html . HTH, SKip

Okay, for those of you who need the COOLEST new gadget...

That must be the thing that Anthony Calfo was walking around with (at MACNA), I didn't get to see it then. It is pretty interesting but not in the average reefers budget unfortunately.

    another newy question sorry!!!

I have 2 of those heaters and one was free. I have not had any problems with them at all and at IMAC last year the rep would throw them one the floor and then plug them in with no problems. I don't use Catalina water (at least not yet) but you should be able to do a normal water change with it...

AIPTASIA & DIGITATE HYDROIDS (ok i posted some pics)

You really don't have to worry about hydroids unless you are keeping dwarf seahorses or breeding fish. They are a type of jellyfish (or at least in the same family, I'm not quite sure which). Skip

    djconn's 20 gallon pics - Image intensive!

I just reread this entire thread and you said that you had a DIY surface skimmer on your prizm and in another place you mentioned you had modded the prizm. I am curious as to how you built the surface skimmer and what other mods did you do to it? I would appreciate any pics you may have...

    Tank recommendations

The posts I have read were mainly talking about self modded tanks. I recall reading about one of Chris' modded tanks actuall running cooler than the stock tank did. I think it was the 6 gallon with the 3.18 upgrade. If you check out the nanocustoms site you will find they also sell unmodded...
