BTW, using a 15 high instead of a 10 will make it so the skimmer doesn't hang below the tank and it adds another 5 gallons of volume so you can have a good sized refugium and still have room for the extra water if the power goes out. SKip

You can make the sump work for the BakPak. Place a baffle so that it is on the end where the water comes in high enough that the water level is near the top of the tank, this is the section where you put the skimmer. From there water will overflow that baffle and the rest is up to the design...

When I contacted them they recommended a super nimble for a 12 nanocube. The inner half is 1/2" thick, the inner part of the regular nimble is only 1/4". Don't let the "super" part fool you though this thing is still very much a nano cleaner. Skip
